TRUMP’S JOB APPROVAL IS HIGHER THAN OBAMA’S

DESPITE 90% NEGATIVE MEDIA COVERAGE …

According to the latest Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking Poll released on April 10, 51% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-seven percent (47%) disapprove.

(Rasmussen has the well-deserved reputation as the most accurate pollster, based on being the closest of all major polling organizations in predicting the results of the 2016 presidential election.)

By comparison, President Obama, exactly eight years ago on April 5, 2011, was at 47% approval.

Can you imagine how much higher Trump’s numbers might be if the mainstream media hadn’t fed such a negative narrative to the American people for the past two years?

NewsBusters reported 90% negative coverage of Trump during 2018, matching similarly negative coverage in 2017.

Whereas Pew Research, another polling firm, reported 42% positive coverage for President Obama in 2009.

Voters inform their choices via the news they receive. They depend on the media to report news honestly and truthfully. But that trust is broken when the media abandons its journalistic integrity and neutrality by choosing sides, reporting with malice, and parroting partisan talking points. We believe media bias is one of the biggest contributors to the unprecedented political divisions in our country today.

While some Americans are inevitably duped by the media’s biased reporting, the latest rise in Trump’s poll numbers indicate a growing number of voters see through the fake news facade and approve of the administration’s numerous economic and security achievements on their behalf.

This bodes well for Trump’s reelection in 2020.
